Design wall...and tables...

This is my design wall. Nothing different from last time. That is only because I have been working at my tables.
Picking threads for the All around the Town pattern.
Picking threads for a challenge that is due in about two weeks. I realized for the first time I really don't care for challenges. Too much stress. I really don't care to stretch myself. Too much pain in stretching.
Stacks of fabrics for my All around the Town. I am enjoying this one so far, maybe because I can do some machine work and some hand work.
I had a dream the other night my Bernina 1230 that I love so much died. I woke up sad. It was so real I was depressed all day. So I had to go sew some to try and convince myself it wasn't real. Now all I can do is think about IF it dies what will happen. I am hopeless!

Later,
Diane

Love the quilt on the design wall. Second one I've seen today....

Hum, I'll be interested to see what you do with all that thread and fabric.

I love everything, of course, but please tell me what the third block down on the left of the pic is??? Wonderful use of scraps!!! I think I need it. :)

I love your crab apples...I finished mine in December. It was a memorable quilt for me. I ran my finger over with the sewing machine while making it. The needle broke off in my finger with the thread coming out the other side. UGH. I still love the quilt though!!

About a month ago my Bernina 1230 did die! I was in the middle of quilting straight lines using my walking foot and suddenly the fabric stopped feeding. The local Bernina dealer couldn't fix it, so it was sent to Bernina in Chicago, where a new part was installed. Also the broken light switch was replaced. 3 weeks and almost $400 later, I got it back. Runs fine now!

I am collecting fabrics for All Around the Town, too. It will be fun to follow your progress
